Senior Java Developer

You will be joining Publicis Sapient as a Senior Associate - Technology (Java) where you will work in a product squad and deliver solutions for medium to large-scale clients. Your role will require you to be a strong core Java or Microservices Developer. Your work will be fueled by challenging boundaries, multidisciplinary collaboration, highly agile teams, and the power of the newest technologies and platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the client's business domain and have experience with Digital Business Transformation (DBT) projects. - Collaborate closely with architects, participate in design reviews, and work with the client and team to implement, deploy, and support applications. - Implement Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as security, performance, availability, resiliency, reliability, and maintainability. - Develop solution accelerators, best practices, quick POCs, and have a good understanding of supporting technologies. - Coach, mentor, and guide the team to foster an engineering culture. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of experience in building large-scale, high-volume, low latency, high availability, and complex distributed services. - Hands-on experience in delivering at least 3 medium-scale projects from scratch. - Strong understanding of object-oriented, SOLID, and DRY principles, reactive programming model, microservices, and event-driven solutions. - Proficiency in Java 8 and above, concurrency, multithreaded models, lambdas, streams, generics, and advance libraries. - Experience with Springboot/Spring cloud or similar frameworks for scalable solutions. - Knowledge of database management, modeling, transactional scenarios, and experience with both NoSQL and SQL based DBs. - Familiarity with build and automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, containerization platforms, logging and monitoring solutions, and application profiling tools. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure/PCF, messaging platforms, and distributed caching solutions. - Strong skills in memory management, writing JUnit test cases, BDD automation tools, and performing performance and security tests.
