Senior IT Project and Program Lead - SAP

You will be responsible for project management leadership of multiple projects within the SAP Center of Excellence organization. Your duties will include leading various types of projects such as application development, systems integration, process reengineering, and application upgrades. You will be accountable for developing finances, project estimates, work plans, resource plans, and schedules. Additionally, you will be required to recommend and direct the analysis and solutions of problems, communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and direct project teams engaged in global initiatives across functional and regional organizations. - Develop and manage all aspects of the project(s) from intake through implementation and closure. - Ensure successful implementation of outcomes through effective organization and leadership, business case and benefits management, stakeholder management, risk management, issue resolution, planning and control, change management, and quality management. - Adhere to all Corporate and IT policies and standards. - Manage project management constraints: Scope, Cost, Schedule. - Provide technical and analytical guidance to leadership governance bodies. - Stay updated on advances and best practices in project management methodologies. - Manage multiple concurrent projects or a single large-scale, complex program. - Build trust and rapport with key stakeholders and facilitate executive-level steering committee discussions. - Define program/project scope and objectives, along with applicable project estimates, work plans, schedules, and resource plans. - Provide leadership to multiple project managers to achieve program objectives with high-quality work products delivered on time and within budget. - Ensure end results meet business and stakeholder benefit expectations. - Follow quality system procedures to ensure compliance with system validation requirements. - Foster strong working relationships between project team members. - Create an environment that allows for independent team decision-making. - Protect Medtronic's systems and information according to Information Protection Policies and Standards. - Monitor project financial metrics and make necessary adjustments to meet scope, schedule, and budget expectations. - Institutionalize development life cycle process and ensure effective implementation of methodologies for project management processes and techniques. - Follow the Medtronic Global IT engagement management model and ensure alignment with corporate engagement models. - Follow the Medtronic Global IT project management processes. - Provide analytical guidance to project team for issue and risk resolutions. - Escalate project issues as needed. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, MSc, or MBA. - Prior experience managing SAP projects and SAP integration related projects within an IT organization. - Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools and techniques. - Proven track record of driving large projects and programs in a multiple service integrator (SI) environment. - Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail. - Strong interpersonal skills (written, oral, presentations) and experience working in a Global environment. - Previous Medtronic experience is a plus. - Familiarity with hands-on technical roles, software development, architecture, etc. - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desirable. - Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Advanced Scrum Master Certification is advantageous. - Proficiency in creating detailed project plans in Microsoft Project. - Experience in fiscal management, budget tracking, reporting, facilitating working sessions, steering committee meetings, risk mitigation strategies, managing technical personnel and business systems analysts, developing stakeholder partnerships, managing complex projects, creating motivating environments, managing change, decision-making skills, influencing and negotiation skills, and business and technical acumen. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
