Job Description
As a Senior IT Project & Program Lead at Medtronic, you will be responsible for project management leadership of multiple projects within the SAP Center of Excellence organization. Your role will involve leading various types of projects, including large-scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and application upgrades and deployments. You will be in charge of developing finances, project estimates, high-level proposals, actual costs, detailed work plans, resource plans, and schedules. Additionally, you will recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems, communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct project teams engaged in global initiatives across functional and regional organizations.
- Develop and manage all facets of the project(s) from intake through implementation and closure.
- Ensure successful implementation of outcomes through effective organization and leadership, business case and benefits management, stakeholder management, risk management and issue resolution, planning and control, change management, and quality management.
- Adhere to all Corporate and IT policies and standards.
- Manage project management constraints: Scope, Cost, Schedule.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to leadership governance bodies.
- Keep current on advances and best practices in project management methodologies.
- Manage all phases of multiple concurrent projects or a single large-scale, complex program.
- Build trust and rapport with key stakeholders and facilitate executive level steering committees discussions.
Qualifications Required:
- 7+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, MSc, or MBA.
- Prior experience managing SAP projects and SAP integration related projects within an IT organization.
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills.
- High degree of interpersonal skills; written, oral, and presentations.
- Experience working in a Global environment; including integrated employee and vendor teams.
