Job Description
In this IT audit opportunity at Pfizer, you will have the chance to achieve work/life balance through a flexible work arrangement that allows you to work from the auditor's base office in Mumbai and from home for up to 2 days a week when not on an audit engagement. Your primary responsibility will be conducting financial and IT audits globally, as well as participating in risk oversight activities and strategic teams within Corporate Audit.
**Role Responsibilities:**
- Conduct independent evaluations of Pfizer's Information Systems and compliance control processes worldwide to ensure proper risk management.
- Present audit results and practical recommendations to senior management, requiring strong negotiation and influence skills.
- Prepare formal written reports with recommendations for strengthening operations and identifying cost savings.
- Actively participate in departmental and cross-functional teams addressing internal and external issues.
- Update audit approach for compliance with regulations like the FCPA, Healthcare Compliance, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Business travel, both domestic and international, will be required.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** MA/MS/MBA preferred
- **Discipline:** Information Systems Auditing required, SAP Experience preferred
- **Experience:** 5-8 years
- **Certifications:** CISA, CPA, CIA, or CA preferred
- **Other Training:** Foreign language skills preferred
- **Type of Industry:** Public accounting and/or Internal auditing required; multi-national pharmaceutical experience a plus
- **Skills:** Must work independently with minimal supervision, test IT controls remotely, and travel internationally when needed.
As a candidate, you should possess solid technical skills in areas such as GxP regulations, SAP security, Quality Assurance, ISACA IT Standards, COBIT standards, IT security practices, and more. Additionally, you should have strong audit skills in planning, project management, data analysis, communication, team collaboration, and staff reviews.
