Job Description
As an Engineer (Water) at Sweco, your role will involve detailed civil design of drainage, sewerage, and water systems to meet the technical deliverables required for wet utility network and hydraulic modelling. You will be responsible for reviewing design calculations, models, and drawings to ensure adherence to quality and technical standards. Collaborating with the principal engineer, design managers, and team members will be essential in resolving issues and delivering projects within specified time limits. Additionally, you will work within multidiscipline project teams to conduct hazard identification and design risk assessments effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed civil design of drainage, sewerage, and water systems
- Review design calculations, models, and drawings for quality and technical standards
- Coordinate with principal engineer, design managers, and team members to resolve issues and meet project deadlines
- Collaborate within multidiscipline project teams to perform hazard identification and design risk assessments
Qualifications Required:
- Diploma/BE/B. Tech in Civil Engineering
- Experience of 4-7 years in wet utility network planning & modelling
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software
- Previous experience in storm water analysis, 3D modelling/pipe design, clash analysis and rectification, and project management
- Environmental Engineering background
