Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing various HR operations on a daily basis. This includes recruitment, onboarding, manpower planning, induction and training, attendance tracking, shift scheduling, wage monitoring, overtime and leave management, database maintenance, documents audit, grievance handling, attrition analysis, statutory compliance, payroll support, preparing registers, and generating necessary reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage hiring and onboarding processes
- Collaborate with plant management for workforce forecasting and ensuring timely availability of contract employees
- Facilitate safety training, especially for machine operation
- Monitor daily attendance and shift rosters using digital tools
- Optimize productivity by managing shift rotations
- Ensure timely payment of wages to contractors in compliance with regulations
- Oversee overtime hours and leave records for working hour compliance
- Maintain and update accurate data in HRIS
- Audit employee documents, files, and database information regularly
- Address employee queries related to salary, policies, and leave benefits
- Analyze attrition and absenteeism of contract employees
- Support PF & ESI registrations and statutory compliance
- Provide data support for processing payroll
- Prepare statutory wage registers and necessary reports
Qualifications Required:
- Graduation with a post-graduate management degree/diploma in HR preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR function with exposure as an HR Generalist
- Experience in HRMS
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask, work under deadlines, and find solutions
- Extreme attention to detail and zero-defect work
- Strong relationship management, organizational, and coordination skills
- Able to work in a rapid-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a valuable presence of mind
- Immediate joiner preferred
