Senior Full Stack Developer

As a Senior Backend Engineer in the contractor program supporting critical customer engagement, your role will involve working closely with the Project Manager, Project team, Engineering Manager, and customer stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring project success from initial definition through final delivery. Your expertise in building high-performance, concurrent backend services and RESTful/gRPC APIs will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain backend services for identity synchronization, focusing on robust integrations with distributed workflow orchestration engines. - Lead the modernization of permissioning services, including critical technical debt reduction by migrating away from costly legacy dependencies. - Contribute to the engineering and ongoing support of internal tooling platforms to enhance operational capabilities within the identity management ecosystem. - Provide agile engineering support to cross-functional onboarding teams to accelerate delivery and meet time-sensitive project milestones. - Design and implement custom software for security platforms, specifically supporting systems for application onboarding, Authentication (AuthN), and Authorization (AuthZ). Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development with a focus on backend development. - Expertise in Go (Golang) with deep experience in building high-performance, concurrent backend services and RESTful/gRPC APIs. - Proficiency in Datastores such as Postgres (RDBMS), MongoDB (NoSQL), and SnowFlake. - Deep understanding and experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and utilizing unit and integration tests to ensure high-integrity distributed systems. - Seasoned in Agile methodologies, providing technical leadership during sprints, grooming, and retrospectives. - Understanding of AWS services and necessary client libraries / APIs for development. Additional Details: You may also have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) EKS microservices deployments and troubleshooting, CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions and CodeFlow), translating production issues into technical resolutions, contributing to technical documentation, and providing engineering support and guidance to clients beyond coding.
