Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for understanding the latest and cost-efficient engineering solutions through technical benchmarking and learning excellent engineering practices from high-performance vehicle products worldwide. Additionally, you will collaborate with OEM or Tiers during new product development phases, communicate with global technical or costing experts, and utilize technical insights databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements.
- Research and investigate cost and technical parameters.
- Execute product cost calculations and provide cost optimization ideas or target costs.
- Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery.
Qualifications Required:
- More than 5 years experience/knowledge of Closures and Exterior components in the function of Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing, or Value Engineering.
- Experience in BOM cost calculation, DtC/VAVE from the supply chain, material, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of stamping/forging technology manufacturing and costing.
- Proficiency in written and oral English, overseas study experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or above in electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering, or related field.
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
- Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit. Role Overview:
