Senior Engineering Application Development (AEC/BIM Automation)

Role Overview: You will be working as a Full Stack Engineer for AEC/BIM Automation at Jacobs. Your main responsibility will be to build digital workflows that support engineering design on a large scale. This will involve creating tools that integrate BIM platforms, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance the efficiency of designers, modelers, and discipline engineers across global delivery centers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop web applications, desktop tools, and backend services in a .NET-centered ecosystem. - Build APIs that connect Revit, AutoCAD, MIDAS, CSI, and Speckle with enterprise systems. - Create browser interfaces using Blazor, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Develop native desktop tools using WPF or .NET MAUI. - Deploy applications on Azure with automated CI/CD workflows. - Modernize legacy engineering workflows through digital automation. - Collaborate closely with engineers to understand domain challenges and develop digital solutions. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience with C#/.NET for backend and tooling development. - Proficiency in REST API development. - Understanding of BIM or engineering design workflows. - Experience working with relational databases. - Azure deployment and operational experience. - Ability to debug integrations with engineering design tools. - Strong collaboration skills when working with domain experts.
