Senior Engineer Mechanical Maintenance

Role Overview: As a Sr. Engineer in Mechanical Maintenance at LIXIL INDIA PVT LTD, your primary purpose is to maintain various zones and equipment within the plant to ensure maximum efficiency and output. You will be responsible for equipment maintenance, co-ordination of TPM system, and driving maintenance and reliability initiatives focused on preventive and predictive maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise maintenance personnel and establish priorities in maintenance schedules - Perform predictive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment based on performance - Control shift maintenance losses and depute manpower for optimum utilization - Manage approvals, assets, utilities, facility, parts inventory, purchase orders, invoice approvals, and department budget - Set direction and priorities for maintenance personnel, provide training and continuous development - Ensure facilities, utilities, layout, and machinery run at maximum efficiency and output - Manage upkeep of manufacturing assets and resources, assist in the design and installation of new systems, and implement energy-saving projects - Conduct performance evaluations on direct reports and verify performance evaluations on technical workforce - Drive maintenance and reliability initiative focused on preventive and predictive maintenance, maintain work order and inventory management - Establish maintenance procedures to ensure production meets or exceeds budget - Develop and maintain quality and safety standards - Conduct training meetings, one-on-one development sessions, technical skills training, and performance reviews for supervisors - Review financial statements, monitor efficiencies and costs, and maintain departmental budget - Coordinate with user departments to design and develop future production capacities and improvements - Design and maintain mechanical maintenance plans, strategies, schedules, procedures, and methods for plant and critical utility equipment - Maintain water records and fire prevention equipment, adhere to preventive maintenance schedule, monitor and control maintenance costs - Operate and update data in SAP, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks - Design and specify new equipment installations, prepare project cost estimates, coordinate with production, maintenance, and purchasing departments - Work a flexible schedule, calculate MTTR and MTBF, complete engineering projects on time and budget - Provide process engineering and troubleshooting support to production and utilities - Commit to continuous learning and improvement, demonstrate knowledge of various safety standards and systems Qualifications Required: - BE/B.
