Your responsibilities will include deeply understanding Silicon/FPGA architecture, configuring core blocks using tcl-based development, and collaborating with stakeholders to determine configuration options in the UI. Additionally, you will work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with multiple deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Read and understand the Silicon Architecture specifications - Define macros/primitives and develop software core to configure IP blocks in Microchip FPGAs - Develop tcl-based core to generate Verilog netlist and connect various macros/primitives - Generate design files for various hard IP blocks in Microchip FPGAs - Capture requirements and create Software requirements document - Create designs to test the Synthesis & PnR flow for generated netlist - Estimate efforts, provide a plan for completing requirements, and propose/review test plans - Collaborate with multiple teams to accomplish tasks - Assist and train Junior engineers - Debug and fix bugs **Qualifications Required:** - Education: Bachelors or Masters in Electronics Engineering - 7 years of experience in EDA software core development - Experience with industrial standard protocols like PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, USB, GPIO, AXI/AHB, and Memory architectures DDR/SDRAM/DMA - Exposure to FPGAs and FPGA software tool chain - Proficiency in writing scripts in Tcl/Perl/Python - Experience in Verilog and developing GUI using Qt is a plus - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Experience in software development using C Programming Language is a plus You will have the opportunity to work in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and may be required to travel up to 25%.
