Senior Developer- IT

As a Senior Developer at Flex, your role will involve ensuring the continuity of IT systems by providing planning, technical business expertise, and project coordination. You will be responsible for implementing, architecting, designing, building, testing, and developing software solutions to automate specific business processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop business solutions in collaboration with stakeholders to create implementation strategies. - Ensure the product meets customer requirements and functions properly. - Conduct solution testing and quality assurance before handing over to other teams for testing and user sign-off. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to select appropriate technology vendors and applications. - Work closely with server or database administration to ensure smooth operation during server/database migration or operating system upgrades. - Troubleshoot and research codes to identify errors and make necessary revisions. - Optimize database and application performance by working with the database administrator. - Collaborate with engineering staff to evaluate and develop software-machine interfaces. - Assist in fixing application security breaches in consultation with the application security team. - Contribute to the development process in close coordination with solution architects. - Maintain and upgrade existing systems, incorporating new technologies where necessary. - Research and incorporate fancy UI components in system solutions. - Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, coding, testing, and changes. - Conduct unit/integration/system tests for automated execution and error detection. - Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide technical support. - Prepare technical reports, memos, and instructional manuals documenting program development. - Troubleshoot and provide solutions for business-critical incidents. - Collaborate with client Business System Specialists and internal stakeholders to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent systems experience. - Minimum of 5+ years of systems experience. - Knowledge of application development, procedures, utilities, and job control languages. - Familiarity with Office Skills such as typing, telephones, computer languages, word processors, and spreadsheets. - Ability to work in teams using Software Control Repository tools like TFS and Git. - Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and SOLID principles. - Detailed expertise in complex functional/technical areas or broad knowledge in multiple areas. - Proficiency in breaking down complex development tasks into manageable activities. - Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and deliverables of each phase.
