As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and fine-tuning Generative AI models for various tasks such as text generation, summarization, code generation, and image synthesis. Your expertise in leveraging large language models (LLMs) like GPT, LLaMA, Claude, and Mistral will be instrumental in solving business problems and enhancing user experiences. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will translate business needs into AI-driven features while deploying and scaling GenAI and ML solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and fine-tuning Generative AI models for various tasks. - Leveraging large language models (LLMs) to solve business problems and enhance user experiences. - Building, deploying, and scaling GenAI and ML solutions on GCP. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI-driven features. - Conducting data exploration, preprocessing, and feature engineering on complex datasets. - Deploying models in production environments using MLOps best practices. - Staying updated on the latest research in Generative AI and identifying opportunities to adopt state-of-the-art techniques. - Developing and maintaining documentation, model cards, and evaluation metrics. - Mentoring junior data scientists and contributing to team knowledge sharing. Qualifications required for this role: - 5+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning, with at least 2 years working on Generative AI or LLM-based applications. - Strong programming skills in Python, including libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, etc. - Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, NLP techniques, and deep learning architectures. - Hands-on experience deploying models at scale using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, and cloud-native MLOps pipelines. - Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Vertex AI, along with exposure to BigQuery and cloud-based data workflows. - Familiarity with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). - Experience working in production-grade ML/AI systems with real-world business impact.
