Senior Data Engineer-Vice President

As a Senior Ab Initio Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing robust and efficient ETL solutions using the Ab Initio suite of products. Your deep expertise in data warehousing concepts and hands-on development will be crucial in enhancing our data processing capabilities and supporting business intelligence initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and implement complex ETL processes using Ab Initio GDE, Co>Operating System, EME, and related tools like Continuous Flows, Metadata Hub, Data Quality. - Work with various database technologies including relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and non-structured databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop HDFS). - Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to understand data requirements, define source-to-target mappings, and design optimal data models and ETL solutions. - Optimize Ab Initio graphs and SQL queries for maximum performance, ensuring timely data loads and availability. - Provide expert-level support for production ETL processes, troubleshoot data-related issues, and conduct code reviews. - Create comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to data quality checks and governance initiatives. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus. - 8+ years of ETL development experience, with a focus on Ab Initio. - Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, as well as experience with unstructured data sources and technologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): - Experience with cloud platforms and data solutions, Big Data technologies, other ETL tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and Ab Initio certification.
