Senior Contracts Manager

As a member of the CMO Contracts team at EY, your primary role will be to ensure consistent management of contracts and proposals, including overseeing the contractual processes during the transition of new Managed Services engagements. You will collaborate closely with significant global stakeholders and global delivery and enablement teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support the design of competitive commercial terms for strategic deals by collaborating with various teams such as pursuit leader, solution architect, legal, pricing, negotiations, risk, and independence. - Review client proposed commercial and contracting terms to achieve a balance of competitiveness and risk avoidance, working closely with different stakeholders. - Provide general support to pursuits in the commercial and contracting space, including creation and negotiation of preparatory contracts (NDAs, teaming agreements, sub-contracts, etc.). - Consult on appropriate choices of contract structures and templates, aligning them with pursuit needs and client requests. - Ensure adherence to approved contractual positions and appropriate delegation of authority guidelines. - Support the qualification process of strategic pursuits, providing commercial value to EY while mitigating key risks. - Provide Contract Management functionality on key EY contracts and accounts. - Develop and use EY contract management processes and tools suitable for different service deliveries. - Transfer commercial and contract knowledge to EY delivery teams for ongoing management of contracts. - Capture knowledge into EY artifacts to support strategic pursuits. **Skills and Attributes for Success:** - High level of drive, ability to work independently and deal effectively with ambiguity and change. - Business and commercial acumen. - Expertise in managed services and other complex pursuits. - Experience in negotiating significant contracts and commercial arrangements. - Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under pressure. - Ability to influence key stakeholders on robust commercial strategies. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Flexibility in working with clients and various EY stakeholders across the world. **Qualifications Required:** - Law degree, and/or a Post Graduate Business or Contract Law qualification. - 5 years of post-qualification experience. - Proven contractual drafting skills. - Contract management or similar experience in a top-tier professional services firm.
