Job Description

As a Senior Business Data Analyst in Commercial Analytics, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and shaping commercial strategy through advanced analytics. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to identify market opportunities, optimize performance, and enable data-driven decision-making at a strategic level. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize data-driven insights to support sales and marketing strategies for driving revenue growth. - Transform complex business challenges into analytical frameworks and statistical models. - Analyze large datasets to identify trends, growth opportunities, and performance gaps. - Develop and execute A/B testing frameworks to validate business hypotheses. - Create predictive models to aid pricing, segmentation, demand forecasting, and campaign optimization. - Establish, monitor, and enhance KPIs aligned with strategic initiatives. - Construct automated dashboards and reporting frameworks for executive stakeholders. - Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments such as IT, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. - Present insights and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders. - Promote data governance best practices and enhance analytics processes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). - 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Sales Analytics, or Marketing Analytics. - Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, CTEs, joins, window functions) and Python (pandas, NumPy, sklearn or similar libraries). - Experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, A/B testing, and hypothesis validation. - Strong expertise in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, or Big Data environments. - Exposure to Salesforce, Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, or similar marketing platforms. - Experience in pricing analytics or commercial strategy. - Exposure to Pharma, Biopharma, Healthcare, or Scientific/Industrial domains. In addition to the above, you are expected to possess the following key skills and competencies: - Strong commercial acumen with a focus on revenue impact. - Ability to articulate complex analytics to executive leadership. - Experience in working within cross-functional global environments. - Strong problem-solving skills and capability to manage multiple projects effectively. - Proactive and self-driven in identifying growth opportunities.
