As a Senior .NET Developer at Kensium, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying robust software solutions that facilitate business transformation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design, development, and deployment of applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs
- Architecting and implementing integrations with external systems like eCommerce platforms and payment gateways
- Collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimizing application performance, maintaining high code quality, and ensuring scalability across client implementations
- Contributing to architectural decisions and enforcing best practices around security, performance, and maintainability
You should be highly proficient in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API development. Experience in SQL Server, data modeling, and performance optimization is essential. Additionally, you should be skilled in applying design patterns, clean architecture, and SOLID principles. Your problem-solving abilities, technical depth, and business context balance will be crucial in this role. Mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership will also be part of your responsibilities.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on .NET and C#
- Proven hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core and RESTful Web API development
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Solid understanding of .NET fundamentals and internals, including Generics, Delegates, Events, Event Handlers, LINQ, and garbage collection (GC generations)
- Experience with data access technologies such as Entity Framework Core and Dapper
- Demonstrated experience in performance profiling, debugging, and optimization of .NET applications
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding practices
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployments
- Understanding of application security principles, including authentication, authorization, and secure API design
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers
