Job Description
As a Financial Reporting and Accounting Specialist at PineBridge Investments, a MetLife Investment Management company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Hong Kong office with various financial reporting activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting financial reporting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Preparing management accounts, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Posting journal entries under supervision and ensuring appropriate documentation and approvals.
- Supporting expense accruals, prepayments, and cut-off procedures for accurate period-end reporting.
- Assisting in monthly variance analysis and supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
In addition to the main responsibilities, you will also be involved in accounts payable activities, daily finance operations, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, systems support, audit and tax support, and stakeholder collaboration. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and global teams to support operational and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting within the asset management industry.
- Prior experience working as an in-house accountant within a corporate environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-border environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working in a global environment.
