Job Description
As an experienced Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver accurate and timely month-end, quarterly, and annual book closures.
- Ensure integrity of balance sheet and P&L through strong reconciliation and control processes.
- Manage UED monthly book closures and shipping business line related closing and review work.
- Maintain high-quality documentation to support clean year-end audits.
- Consistently meet all daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting deadlines.
- Take full ownership of trading accounting activities.
- Manage IRS and dry derivative accounting, ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Provide daily cash flow and liquidity forecasting to support treasury decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy in daily finance file processing, liquidity publishing, and query resolution.
- Identify and correct legacy issues (e.g., overhead lease accounting) and assume ongoing ownership.
- Challenge upstream processes (e.g., broker reconciliation) by identifying gaps and strengthening controls.
- Develop practical workarounds for IT delays to ensure uninterrupted project delivery.
- Regularize reporting frameworks including overall invoice reporting and AP/AR unpaid reports.

Qualifications & Experience:
- CA / CPA / ACCA (Qualified or Part Qualified).
- 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in trading or commodity environments.
- Robust understanding of treasury operations and derivative accounting.
