In this role as a Security Engineer II at JPMorganChase within the Cyber Security & Technology Control, you play a crucial part in delivering secure software solutions as a valued member of a high-performing team. You will be involved in executing standard security solutions, writing secure code, and supporting the delivery of continuity-related activities to meet security requirements for internal clients. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Executes standard security solutions based on existing playbooks for internal clients
- Writes secure and high-quality code using at least one programming language
- Utilizes specialized tools to analyze incident data and identify threats
- Supports delivery of continuity-related awareness, training, and exercises
- Contributes to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
**Qualifications Required:**
- Formal training or certification in security engineering concepts with at least 2 years of applied experience
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, React, and MongoDB full stack development
- Basic experience in developing security engineering solutions
- Demonstrable coding ability in one or more languages
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle
- Knowledge of information and network security, IT risk management, and architectural concepts
- Proficiency in specialized tools for incident data analysis
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with Camunda BPM platform and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
