Security Architect - L1

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing the organization's computer and network security infrastructure to protect its systems and sensitive information from cyber threats. Your role will involve designing and developing enterprise cyber security strategy and architecture, identifying security risks, providing product best fit analysis, supporting technical deployment and administration of security technologies, and assisting in disaster recovery in case of security breaches. Additionally, you will be involved in stakeholder coordination, audit assistance, and providing cyber security awareness training to team members and customers. Key Responsibilities: - Understand security requirements by evaluating business strategies and conducting system security vulnerability and risk analyses - Identify risks associated with business processes, operations, information security programs, and technology projects - Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats and design security architecture elements to mitigate threats - Provide product best fit analysis to ensure end-to-end security covering different facets of architecture - Demonstrate experience in security assessment against NIST Frameworks, SANS, CIS, etc. - Provide support during technical deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of security technologies - Assist in disaster recovery in the event of security breaches, attacks, intrusions, or unauthorized activity - Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of solutions related to cyber risk security - Analyze technology environment, client requirements, and set a collaboration design framework - Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions - Define current state solutions, identify improvements, options, and tradeoffs to define target state solutions - Coordinate with stakeholders on cyber security issues and provide timely support and recommendations - Maintain an information security risk register and assist in internal and external audits - Support audit of security best practices and implementation of security principles across the organization - Deliver cyber security awareness training to team members and customers Qualifications Required: - Experience in designing and developing enterprise cyber security strategy and architecture - Strong knowledge of security assessment frameworks such as NIST, SANS, CIS - Familiarity with incident management, configuration management, change management, and problem management - Ability to provide technical leadership and recommend solutions to integrate with the technology ecosystem - Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and provide timely support and recommendations Application from people with disabilities are explicitly welcome.
