SAP FICO Functional

You are responsible for analyzing finance processes, configuring SAP FICO, supporting business stakeholders, ensuring system optimization, and acting as the bridge between Finance users & IT/SAP teams. Your key responsibilities include: - Business Process Analysis & Optimization - Interact with accountants, finance controllers, tax teams & auditors to understand business processes. - Identify gaps, inefficiencies & improvement areas in current FICO processes. - Ensure all solutions align with standard SAP best practices ("keep the core clean"). - SAP FICO Configuration & Customization - Work with ABAP & technical teams to configure SAP FICO modules. - Prepare functional specifications, validate developments, support end-to-end testing. - Execute test plans with business stakeholders. - Training, Documentation & Collaboration - Create documentation, SOPs, functional specs & test scripts. - Deliver training to finance key-users. - Work with internal SAP teams to deploy new features or enhancements. - Support & Special Projects - Support FI/CO modules in daily business operations. - Participate in global SAP finance projects & system rollouts. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of SAP FICO experience in ECC system - Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting business processes - Hands-on experience in: - FI: AP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting, Banking - CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders - Experience preparing FSDs/BRDs, user stories & functional test cases - Strong communication + documentation skills Preferred Skills: - Experience in global project environments - Experience in SAP S/4 HANA (nice to have) - Experience working with Finance Controllers, Tax Teams, Auditors You should have a Bachelor's / Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline.
