SAP Data Analyst

You will be responsible for moving data from legacy systems to new target solutions using tools such as Winshuttle, SAP BusinessObjects Data Services(BODS), SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), and SAP Data Services. Your focus will be on data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), cleansing, mapping, and validation to ensure accuracy and business continuity. You will manage the entire lifecycle, from discovery and planning to post-go-live support, often adapting standard migration objects or creating custom ones for unique business needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Planning & Strategy:** Define scope, timelines, resources, and migration approaches for data conversions. - **Data Analysis and Mapping:** Analyze source data for quality, completeness, and mapping to target structures. - **Tool Expertise:** Utilize data conversion tools such as Winshuttle, SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC), Migration Object Modeler (MOM), SAP Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), and SAP Data Services (BODS). - **Execution:** Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). - **Cleansing & Validation:** Clean data, standardize formats, and run mock migrations for testing. - **Customization:** Adapt migration objects or create custom ones for unique data fields. - **Support:** Provide post-go-live support and user training. - **Validation & Testing:** Verify the integrity and accuracy of migrated data. - **Collaboration:** Work with business users (functional teams) and IT (technical teams). You will be working in virtual and culturally diverse teams, aligning closely with internal colleagues and partners to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Data Conversion/Migration roles. - Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. - Expertise in ETL processes and data migration methodologies. - Familiarity with various SAP modules (e.g., FICO, SuccessFactors). - Tools: Winshuttle, SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Migration Object Modeler, SAP Data Services (BODS). - Methodologies: Understanding of ETL processes, data governance, and migration best practices. - Technical: Knowledge of ERP data models and SQL. - Attention to detail and effective communication. - Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology (IT), or data science. This job is located in India, and the role may require some travel. You should be prepared to work on projects with global team members outside of standard office hours, and weekend work and overtime may be necessary. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in team and individual environments and be willing to travel up to 25% (more may be necessary for projects), both domestically and internationally.
