SAP COE Centre of Excellence - Release and Deployment Manager

As the Release & Deployment Manager, your main responsibility is to orchestrate changes within the SAP S/4HANA landscape, ensuring functional and technical enhancements are deployed into production seamlessly. You will collaborate with strategic IT partners to maintain the integrity of Sustain Operations. Here is a breakdown of your roles and responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end SAP release & change management activities in sophisticated SAP S/4HANA implementations - Define, maintain, and govern release deployment frameworks aligned with program release plans - Coordinate release deployments and cutovers across projects, increments, and process teams - Handle business and IT change activities, ensuring smooth transitions within SAP systems using SOLMAN CHARM & ServiceNow tools - Drive risk identification and contingency strategies for environments and releases - Collaborate closely with Release Management, Test Management, Data Migration, and Product Business partners - Plan and deliver change readiness checkpoints for on-time PROD movements - Facilitate release stand-ups, track execution, and ensure timely delivery of increments - Provide cockpit-based reporting and clear progress updates to participants - Build and lead a strong network of change representatives across Agile projects - Continuously improve change and release processes by implementing standard methodologies and efficiency improvements Additionally, your secondary skills will involve coordinating with FME, ITS, and Business teams to identify release-wise requirements, segregating existing & new requirements, managing testing & cutover activities as required by the program. Qualifications: 1) Required training and education: - ISTQB Foundation Agile or any other Advanced Level certification - SAP SOLMAN Certifications preferred 2) Required professional experience: - 8 years of experience in software change and release management with 5 years in SAP implementation / upgrade / support related change & release management - Strong hands-on experience in SAP SOLMAN CHARM & transport management, Atlassian Jira, ServiceNow, Tricentis test & Vera - Experience in Pharma industry GXP/ CSV processes & regulated / validated release methodologies - Expertise in planning scheduling and coordinating software releases in sophisticated environments - Knowledge of SDLC Agile methodologies and ITIL processes - Ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced multifaceted environment - Experience working with offshore and global teams - Excellent partner management, communication, and partnership skills - Strong analytical problem-solving and interpersonal abilities - Certifications in Agile Release Trains, ITIL, PMP or similar are helpful - Proficiency with SAP Signavio for business process modeling is preferred - A continuous learner approach with willingness to adapt to new tools, technologies, and delivery models IT skills required: - SAP SOLMAN - Tricentis Qtest & Vera - Jira - ServiceNow Experience Required: Manager As the Release & Deployment Manager, your main responsibility is to orchestrate changes within the SAP S/4HANA landscape, ensuring functional and technical enhancements are deployed into production seamlessly.
