Sanity CMS Developer - Offshore

As a Sanity CMS Developer for the migration of marketing websites from OpenText TeamSite CMS to Sanity CMS, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Lead the migration process from TeamSite CMS to Sanity CMS - Analyze existing TeamSite templates, components, and content structures - Design clean and scalable Sanity schemas tailored to marketing requirements - Develop and implement content migration strategies, whether manual, scripted, or a combination of both - Create and optimize GROQ queries specifically for marketing pages - Customize the Sanity Studio to facilitate marketer-friendly authoring and previews - Integrate Sanity with frontend frameworks such as Next.js or React - Ensure continuity in SEO, URL structures, redirects, and metadata throughout the migration process - Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and engineering teams - Document the CMS architecture and editorial workflows To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - Proficiency in Sanity.io - Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript - Experience in handling content migrations across different CMS platforms - Understanding of enterprise CMS concepts including templates, workflows, and permissions - Previous work experience on marketing websites, including landing pages, campaigns, and SEO optimization - Familiarity with React and Next.js - Ability to transform legacy CMS models into modern structured content Desirable qualifications include: - Previous experience with OpenText TeamSite or similar enterprise CMS - Knowledge of writing migration scripts using Node.js, APIs, and JSON transforms - Understanding of SEO migrations involving canonical URLs, redirects, and metadata - Experience in localization and multi-site architectures - Familiarity with custom plugins for Sanity Studio or desk structure customization Please note: The duration of this role is initially set for 3+ months with a possibility of extension. The positions are remote, and you will be working on two roles - one involving CMS with Sanity and the other with CMS using Next.js/React.
