Job Description
As a proactive and results-driven B2B Sales Manager with experience in the travel and tourism industry, your role will involve expanding and managing the sales pipeline, fostering agent relationships, and promoting the brand and tourism products. Your focus will be on acquiring new business and strengthening relationships with existing partners to ensure growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and key distribution partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for addressing their needs, providing product knowledge, and facilitating smooth communication between agents and the company.
- Own and manage the business development pipeline, collaborating with agents and stakeholders to qualify opportunities and move them efficiently from initiation to closure.
- Identify new business opportunities, evaluate partnership requests, and manage inbound and outbound sales to align with strategic goals.
- Conduct engaging presentations and product demonstrations for travel agents and partners, showcasing unique features and benefits of the company's travel products.
- Focus on building lasting relationships with travel agents, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty, while seeking new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and seamless execution of business development efforts.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client and agent queries promptly, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the travel, tourism, or aviation industry.
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Tourism Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing travel agent relationships, effective communication, satisfaction, and engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for demonstrating and selling tourism products.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to understand client needs to provide tailored solutions.
- Effective management and prioritization of multiple partnerships and sales opportunities.
- Collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide goals.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
