Risk - Vice President - Software Engineering

As a Model Risk Application professional, you will be responsible for developing highly scalable and reliable applications that contribute to digital transformation and operational efficiency. Your role will involve working on web applications for internal risk management and regulatory reporting, requiring skills in data warehousing, data analytics, and machine learning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop applications with a focus on automation and automated testing. - Analyze and design new features, including data modeling, architecture, and low-level design. - Stay updated with new and emerging technologies relevant to the project. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design, and core programming concepts. - Ability to multitask, manage stakeholders, and collaborate effectively in a team. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on client/stakeholder management. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong delivery focus. If you have experience with the following qualifications, it would be considered a plus: - Strong programming skills in Java. - Full Stack Development experience, particularly with React. - Familiarity with frameworks like SpringBoot, DropWizard, Maven, Spring JPA, etc. - Knowledge in ML/Data Science/AWS. - Experience in continuous delivery and deployment. - Proficiency in working with large and complex code bases. - Strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles.
