Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Retail Data Analyst in the Finance Team of a global energy business, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling technical, analytical, and reporting tasks to support BP's West Coast ampm Retail business. Your responsibilities will include leading the royalty settlements process, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and set up new vendors in BP systems for rebate billing purposes
- Oversight and final reporting of the disqualification site list for sites not following ampm guidelines
- Engage with Collaborators to review payments and create reports and dashboards
- Identify trends and deficiencies to improve process efficiency
- Coordinate site ATM commission reporting and supply final reports to the BP technology team
- Assist in Order to Cash workflow and calculate site eligibility for incentive/royalty reduction programs
- Verify accuracy of promotional rates and deals with the Price Book team
- Review and verify scan rebate system reporting accuracy and coordinate corrections
- Maintain monthly manufacturer rebate billing file and prepare supporting data for vendor billing
- Provide transactional sales data for tobacco products to suppliers and track paid/unpaid items
Qualifications Required:
- Overall 8 to 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in Retail sales or marketing analytical roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborator engagement and incident management experience
- Good communication skills and ability to disseminate relevant information
- Proficiency in Excel (XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic-intermediate VBA), SAP, AWS, and Power BI
- Ability to meet reporting timelines, ensure data integrity, and seek process standardization and simplification
