Research Lead (Intern)

Your role will involve hands-on experience in sustainability research, contributing to impactful projects, and gaining a deep understanding of current sustainability challenges and solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Data Collection & Analysis:** Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to various sustainability metrics such as carbon emissions, water usage, and waste generation. - **Literature Reviews:** Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on emerging sustainability trends, regulations, best practices, and industry-specific challenges. - **Report Generation:** Support the creation of research reports, presentations, and internal memos by summarizing findings and contributing to written content. - **Benchmarking:** Assist in benchmarking projects against industry sustainability standards and best practices. - **Project Support:** Provide administrative and research support to the sustainability team on various ongoing projects. - **Stakeholder Engagement:** Potentially assist in preparing materials for stakeholder engagement on sustainability initiatives. - **Innovation Scouting:** Research new sustainable technologies, methodologies, and innovative solutions relevant to the industry. **Qualifications:** - Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Public Policy, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. - Demonstrated interest in sustainability, ESG, and environmental issues. - Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy. **Preferred Skills:** - Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks. - Experience with data visualization tools. - Basic understanding of statistical analysis. - Experience with survey design or qualitative research methods.
