As a Compliance Officer for Artha Bharat Group's new pension fund management platform in GIFT City IFSC, your role is crucial in ensuring regulatory compliance, governance integrity, and subscriber protection. You will be responsible for overseeing adherence to regulatory standards, implementing compliance frameworks, and ensuring operational alignment with legal requirements. Additionally, you will conduct compliance risk assessments, prepare regulatory reports, and communicate compliance matters with internal teams and external authorities effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Continuous compliance with IFSCA (Pension Fund) Regulations, 2026 and related directions - Monitoring regulatory developments and assessing their impact on the pension fund manager and schemes - Overseeing regulatory filings, reports, and disclosures to IFSCA - Coordinating regulatory inspections, audits, and supervisory reviews - Maintaining and implementing compliance policies covering various areas such as AML/CFT, KYC, conflict of interest, grievance redressal, and subscriber protection - Ensuring fit-and-proper oversight for directors, KMPs, and key stakeholders - Escalating material compliance issues to the Board and recommending corrective actions Qualification Required: - Postgraduate qualification in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, or a related discipline - Compliance certification (e.g., ICA, CAMS) is a plus or being a qualified CS - Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance, risk, or legal roles within regulated financial institutions - Strong working knowledge of financial-services regulation and governance standards - Willingness to be based full-time in GIFT City IFSC - Self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic regulatory environment Preferred Experience (Not Mandatory): - Prior experience dealing with financial regulators (IFSCA, SEBI, IRDAI, MAS, FCA, or equivalent) - Exposure to pension funds, collective investment schemes, or long-term savings products - Familiarity with AML/CFT frameworks and regulatory reporting processes Why Join Us - Be part of a first-mover pension platform under the IFSC pension framework - Work in a high-governance, regulator-facing role with real impact - Engage directly with senior management and the Board - Opportunity to help shape compliance architecture from inception - Competitive compensation aligned with senior regulated roles in IFSC As a Compliance Officer for Artha Bharat Group's new pension fund management platform in GIFT City IFSC, your role is crucial in ensuring regulatory compliance, governance integrity, and subscriber protection.
