Regional Content Specialist & Social Media Manager (Tamil & English)

You are being sought after for the position of Regional Content Specialist & Social Media Manager with a focus on the Tamil and English-speaking audience in Chennai and other regions. Your primary responsibilities include creating engaging content for various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube in both languages. As an integral part of brand building, you will be involved in all stages of content creation, from ideation to post-production coordination. Your ability to adapt storytelling between Tamil and English, manage on-site shoots, and drive organic growth will be crucial for the role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, create, and execute content in Tamil and English across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube (short-form & long-form) - Own end-to-end content execution ideation, scripting, pre-production planning, shoot execution, and post-production coordination - Create and scale short-form content (Reels, Shorts, FB videos), podcasts, and social-first video formats - Write scripts, captions, hooks, and CTAs in both Tamil and English based on platform and audience behavior - Manage on-site shoots including talent coordination, shot planning, timelines, and rapid execution - Coordinate with editors, designers, creators, and marketing teams to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery - Develop a strong eye for thumbnails, visuals, titles, and platform-native storytelling - Grow and scale social media channels organically using trends, insights, and performance data - Build and maintain brand voice consistency while adapting tone across Tamil and English audiences - Handle backend social media operations including scheduling, publishing, community management, and cross-team coordination **Qualifications:** - Strong proficiency in Tamil and English (spoken and written) - Proven experience managing Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels for regional or bilingual brands - Hands-on knowledge of pre-production, production, and post-production processes - Experience creating short-form video content, podcasts, and social-first formats - Strong understanding of thumbnails, visual storytelling, and social media brand building - Comfortable managing on-site shoots and working in fast-paced execution-driven environments - Detail-oriented, self-driven, and capable of coordinating between multiple teams and stakeholders - Deep awareness of Tamil culture, regional trends, and English digital content best practices You are being sought after for the position of Regional Content Specialist & Social Media Manager with a focus on the Tamil and English-speaking audience in Chennai and other regions.
