Job Description
As an R&D Data Analyst, your role will involve focusing on developing strategic insights and providing smart analytics to support R&D priorities. You will be responsible for connecting data from various sources, developing insights related to portfolio analysis, and creating accurate visualizations for generating valuable insights. It is essential to collaborate with the finance team, establish quality control checks, review portfolio reports, and share insights within the R&D team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing against the team charter for Reporting & Analytics
- Creating, maintaining, and upgrading Excel utility tools using VB/macros and complex formulas
- Producing portfolio level reporting of R&D spend through dashboards and reporting tools
- Providing business performance explanations
- Addressing optimization opportunities
- Responding to ad-hoc queries
- Supporting Reporting Lead/Senior Managers/Managers in meeting information needs
Furthermore, you will be accountable for managing multiple priorities, ensuring data integrity across platforms like Excel, Clarity, and Anaplan, supporting data loads, and coordinating with the Power BI reporting team. Your role will involve delivering insights, supporting SSC strategy delivery, and contributing to the establishment of an Insights sub-team within the service center.
Qualifications required for this role:
- Junior/mid-level Insight or Analytics professional with over 6 years of experience in a consumer goods company
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Math, Data Science, or Management
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent technical skills for data processing and visualization
- Ability to work with various data visualization tools
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills
