Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Availity, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through systematic testing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Debugging software products by developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards
- Developing, modifying, and executing software test plans, automated scripts, and programs
- Analyzing and writing test standards and procedures
- Maintaining documentation of test results for debugging and modification purposes
- Analyzing test results, ensuring existing functionality, and recommending corrective actions
- Consulting with development engineers to resolve issues
- Providing feedback for technical appraisals of programming languages and systems
- Ensuring quality computer integration into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- 3+ years of software testing experience with at least 2 years in automation
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD frameworks
- Strong Java coding background
- Experience with CI/CD environments and Git workflows
- Knowledge of testing REST APIs and microservices
- Experience with Docker, AWS/Azure (good to have)
- Strong analytical mindset and leadership ability
