Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer at Digiaccel Learning, you will play a crucial role in strengthening the engineering team by focusing on building reliable automation tests for applications built on NestJS, Next.js, Node.js, React, and React Native. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining UI automation tests for React (web) and React Native (mobile) applications. - Writing and maintaining API automation tests for NestJS/Node.js backend services, using tools like Postman and scripting frameworks. - Collaborating with developers to define test strategies and ensure automation coverage across frontend, backend, and mobile applications. - Investigating test failures, analyzing logs, and providing detailed defect reports. - Continuously improving automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability. To be successful in this role, you must have: - 1-2 years of hands-on experience in QA automation. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting. - Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Detox for React Native. - Proficiency in API testing and automation using Postman/Newman or similar frameworks. - Understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile practices. Nice-to-have qualifications include: - Experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium or Detox. - Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust. - Basic understanding of containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
