In this role as a Specialist II, Quality Assurance Engineer at EY, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced level systems quality assurance testing services. Your main responsibility will be to implement and maintain new techniques and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of software development. You will review requirements, conduct advanced testing, analyze results, and participate in design reviews to ensure functionality, performance, and early issue resolution. Your key responsibilities will include: - Maintaining and implementing test automation strategy, test design, and creation - Participating in the development, implementation, control, and distribution of quality assurance practices - Analyzing test data input and output, identifying discrepancies, documenting exceptions, and making recommendations for improvement - Evaluating, developing, and maintaining quality assurance testing standards - Collaborating across IT teams to develop and execute manual End-to-End test cases - Training and mentoring less experienced staff, resolving elevated issues, and researching and recommending new technologies - Participating in special projects and conducting regression testing, stress testing, and other advanced testing methods - Analyzing test results to assess database impacts, identify bugs, errors, and usability concerns - Participating in design reviews, providing insights on product requirements, design considerations, and potential problems Skills and attributes for success: - Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills - Constantly updating yourself about new technologies in the market - A winning personality and the ability to become a trusted advisor to stakeholders - Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in automation and manual testing - 3+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics Sales and Service - 1-3 years of experience in manual software testing - Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies - Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira) - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments - Experience with Leapwork for test automation a plus - Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills To qualify for this role, you must have: - Bachelors degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering, or a Masters degree/Diploma in Computer Science - Understanding of Java, Angular, Node JS, Postman, Cucumber, AWS, SQL queries, TDD/BDD, Github, Bitbucket, Bamboo, CI/CD, Splunk, Honeycomb, and scripting language (e.g. Python) - Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) - AWS cloud practitioner certification preferred - Proficiency in using JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail for bug tracking and working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD integration Ideally, you'll also have: - Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills - Highly flexible, adaptable, and creative approach - Comfortable interacting with senior executives EY offers a competitive remuneration package, comprehensive Total Rewards package, support for flexible working and career development, and benefits that suit your needs.
