QA Lead - Automation

As an experienced Test Automation Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing robust test automation solutions across web, mobile, and API platforms. Your role will require strong hands-on expertise and leadership capability to guide and mentor an automation team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end test automation strategy, design, and execution - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Appium - Perform and oversee code reviews to ensure quality, reusability, and adherence to best practices - Implement and maintain API test automation for backend services - Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines - Manage, mentor, and upskill the test automation team - Estimate automation efforts, plan sprints, and track delivery milestones - Identify automation gaps and continuously improve test coverage and efficiency Mandatory Skills: - Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java) - Solid experience in Appium for mobile automation (Android/iOS) - Expertise in API automation (REST-based services) - Proven experience in automation framework creation and maintenance - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming in Java - Experience with code reviews and automation best practices - Ability to lead and manage an automation testing team Good to Have: - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) - Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber/TestNG/JUnit) - Exposure to performance or security testing - Experience in Agile/Scrum environments Soft Skills: - Strong leadership and mentoring skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management - Proactive problem-solving mindset Educational Qualification: - B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc As an experienced Test Automation Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing robust test automation solutions across web, mobile, and API platforms.
