QA Executive

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Envecon, your role involves ensuring the quality control of software by planning, organizing, and building testing protocols. You will be responsible for implementing automation testing in all products and projects with the highest standard of quality and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, estimate, and prioritize functional and nonfunctional testing activities to ensure successful deliveries. - Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. Record test results, test summary reports, defect reports, and complete all test activities. - Troubleshoot, identify the root cause, and differentiate defects with a better understanding. - Establish QA metrics and reporting dashboards for all stakeholders. - Facilitate the decomposition of business requirements into Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria. - Ensure on-time delivery and timely escalations of risks, issues, and status for relevant stakeholders. Lead QA process improvement initiatives. - Clearly document and thoroughly execute Acceptance Tests. - Organize and manage manual and automated test case libraries. - Assist manual and automated test engineers to minimize production defect leaks. - Establish and maintain quality assurance standard operating procedures. - Mentor/train team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient and effective testing processes. - Keep abreast of changes in technology, standards, and relevant developments in IT and testing by maintaining professional competency through training. - Collaborate effectively with team members and others in the organization to resolve testing issues. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Engineering or higher education. - 4+ years of relevant experience. - Strong knowledge of Frontend, Backend QA, and Mobile app testing. - Ability to execute STLC properly. - Good knowledge of third-party tools for different types of testing. - In-depth knowledge of UI test automation tools (e.g., robot framework, Selenium) and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation. - Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust) and API Testing using Postman and API testing automation tools. - Proficiency in SQL, version control systems (e.g., Git), and facilitation of root cause analysis for critical defects and system outages. - ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.
