Python - Django Developer

As a Senior Backend Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems using Python and Fast API. You will play a key role in architecting and implementing scalable REST APIs with secure authentication and authorization mechanisms. Your expertise in optimizing database queries and schema design will contribute to the performance and scalability of our systems. Collaborating with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams, you will deliver end-to-end solutions and ensure high code quality through code reviews and best practices enforcement. Mentoring junior developers and staying updated with emerging backend technologies are also integral parts of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Fast API - Architect and implement scalable REST APIs with secure authentication and authorization mechanisms - Optimize database queries and schema design for performance and scalability (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) - Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions - Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high code quality - Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and technical excellence - Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability - Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and frameworks Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong proficiency in Python and Flask - Deep understanding of REST API design principles - Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and other authentication/authorization frameworks - Expertise in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) - Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Experience working in an Agile Scrum team - Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills - Proven ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives - Exposure to microservices architecture As a Senior Backend Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems using Python and Fast API.
