Project Manager

**Role Overview:** As a member of VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions), your role will be to plan and deliver cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions aligned with global IT strategy and standards. You will ensure that the solutions are supportable, operable, and scalable. Your responsibilities will include managing project delivery, coordinating technical implementations related to VCI Data Centres, leading project management for service delivery, ensuring operational readiness & acceptance, and reviewing and improving internal processes affecting delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** - Project Delivery Management: - Manage workload within the Project Delivery & Build team. - Ensure high-quality, updated project information in tracking tools. - Initiate and deliver projects in line with guidelines. - Plan/manage delivery dates and escalate risks/issues as needed. - Prioritize workload against team objectives. - Technical Implementation (VCI Data Centres): - Manage procurement of project hardware/software. - Coordinate installation of servers, storage, LAN, security, DB, middleware, and related components. - Ensure configuration data is entered into CMDB. - Follow change management process for all implementations. - Configure backup/restore tools as per VCI service catalogue. - Project Management for Service Delivery: - Lead technical implementation for internal delivery projects. - Provide end-to-end project management for complex deliveries. - Apply PRINCE2 governance including structure, controls, risks, changes, and communication. - Implement parameters and functions in monitoring/workflow tools per SLA needs. - Operational Readiness & Acceptance (ORA): - Secure Operational QA approvals with VT-IS & OPCO teams. - Deliver outcomes to VCI Operations. - Ensure deployments match delivery standards. - Process Review & Improvement: - Review internal processes affecting delivery. - Recommend and drive process improvements across VCI teams. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong project management skills. - PRINCE2 (desired). **Additional Details:** VOIS, a strategic arm of Vodafone Group Plc, operates across 28 countries and is dedicated to being Vodafone Groups partner of choice for talent, technology, and transformation.
