Job Description
You are being offered an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast-paced and challenging area within J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management. As part of the Projects & Business Innovation Support team, you will work closely with internal partners such as Client Service, Advisors, Operations, Technology, Product, Business Management, and Compliance to optimize business flows, enhance controls, and ensure compliance with regulations. Your role will involve project management in the back or middle office operations area, with a focus on driving strategic objectives, effective communication, and exercising good judgment under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, managing, and executing projects through a project plan and engagement of stakeholders
- Determine milestones and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders from Legal, Compliance, Technology, Operations, Business Management, and Risk
- Manage and prioritize initiatives requested by stakeholders
- Plan and coordinate testing of new functionality and regression testing
- Provide project status updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Demonstrate high discipline, self-starting ability, and independence in executing assignments
- Adaptability to learn new tasks and understand process details
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Demonstrate high integrity and strategic thinking in implementing and managing day-to-day tasks
- Identify critical requirements and potential gaps in complex processes
- Ability to work under pressure with strong operations knowledge
- Previous experience in consulting would be a plus
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience in operations area
- Ability to drive strategic objectives and communicate effectively
- Exceptional capacity to exercise good judgment under pressure
- Strong ownership and ability to operate in a flexible, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Experience in operation is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders
- High level of integrity and adaptability to learn new tasks
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
