Production/Application Support

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing production and application support for Dot Net, JAVA, DDS, and J2EE technologies in the Payments/Corporate online banking domain. Your role will involve working on Unix platform, utilizing Oracle and PL-SQL knowledge, as well as SQL server. Additionally, you will need to have expertise in Core Java with external systems integration, knowledge in Apache/Tomcat or other web servers, J2EE/JRE, client browsers and configurations, and Mobility Solutions. Your responsibilities will include reviewing system documentation, preparing system documentation, interpreting solution documentation, and identifying areas of concern to recommend an approach. With 8-10 years of programming and support experience, including 6+ years in the Banking domain, you will be expected to have a Computer Science degree or equivalent. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct development based on user requirements, project involvement, or changing technologies. - Develop information technology solutions and make specific determinations about system performance. - Prepare and verify production transfer documentation. - Monitor applications to ensure adequate system resources for processing at production standards. - Coordinate with internal teams for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, and Production Rollout. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production system disruptions, gather necessary information and logs for investigation, and follow up with vendors for issue resolution. - Deploy bug fixes in the test environment, perform System Integration Testing (SIT), and coordinate with users for testing before moving changes to Production. - Coordinate with Database Administrators (DBA) for re-indexing activities as per system DB requirements. - Coordinate with associated teams for Security/OS/DB patches in the development environment. Qualifications Required: - Good knowledge of Payments/Corporate online banking domain. - Ability to work on Unix platform, with mandatory knowledge of Oracle, PL-SQL, and SQL server. - Proficiency in Core Java with external systems integration. - Familiarity with Apache/Tomcat or other web servers, J2EE/JRE, client browsers and configurations, and Mobility Solutions. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare system documentation. - Capacity to interpret solution documentation, identify areas of concern, and recommend suitable approaches. - Ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment. - 8-10 years of programming and support experience, with at least 6 years in the Banking domain. - A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
