Production Shift Supervisor

As a Group Leader at 3M, your role will involve the following responsibilities: Role Overview: - Champion a strong EHS culture by actively searching for hazards and reducing potential risks. - Manage crew sizes and skills needed, balancing agility and budget while ensuring effective training and development. - Develop a positive working environment through teamwork, diversity, and recognition of positive behavior. - Ensure effective communication and collaboration with functional teams to improve production efficiency. - Use performance data to drive decisions and actions leading to performance improvement within the area. Key Responsibilities: - Approve timecards, overtime hours, time off requests, and attendance records. - Coach and teach team members to be proficient in their roles. - Ensure all safety and quality checklists are completed as scheduled. - Prioritize problem solving for safety, quality, and OEE issues. - Audit usage of standard work within the area. - Support and drive 3M Ex systems and ideal behaviors with coaching. - Coordinate with Plant Leadership regarding implementation of operations execution model. - Collaborate with maintenance to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed. - Promote and develop kaizen hoppers and ensure workshop outputs are driven and delivered. Qualifications Required: - BE Mechanical with 5-7 years of experience in a Production role. - Ability to communicate effectively up and down the plant organization. - InsideOut Coaching methodology knowledge. - Lean knowledge including PDCA problem solving.
