As a Product Analyst at Astrotalk, your role will involve turning data into actionable insights that influence key product and business decisions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to analyze metrics, uncover trends, and optimize platform performance. The ideal candidate for this position should be highly skilled in SQL, visualization tools, and have experience applying AI-driven analytics, particularly within a product-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze user journeys, funnels, and engagement metrics to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and automate dashboards using Tableau, Redash, or similar BI tools.
- Conduct supply-demand analysis to ensure efficient userastrologer matching.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define KPIs, run A/B tests, and measure feature impact.
- Use AI and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, clustering, NLP) to drive business insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, build scalable data pipelines, and maintain analytics documentation.
- Present insights and business recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience as a Product / Data Analyst in a tech or product company.
- Strong SQL expertise able to write complex, optimized queries.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Redash, or Power BI.
- Experience leveraging AI or ML tools for analytics or decision support.
- Understanding of supply-demand problem-solving, preferably in a two-sided or marketplace environment.
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience with Python/R for data analysis or automation.
- Exposure to A/B testing, cohort analysis, and product experimentation.
- Experience in high-scale consumer tech products (marketplace, fintech, or e-commerce).
