Job Description

As an R&D Product Engineering II at TE Connectivity, your primary role involves developing and validating optimized CNC programs for components under development in new product design. You will collaborate with the engineering team to assess design feasibility for manufacturability using DFSS methodologies. Your expertise in DFMEA and secondary machining processes will be crucial in ensuring the success of product development projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop optimized CNC programs for new products, ensuring manufacturability feasibility - Review PFMEA, PPAPs, and Standard Operating Procedures - Assist in all stages of product development lifecycle, from ideation to production - Study, design, and implement setup and fixturing requirements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product development - Stay updated on new technologies and processes for potential cost-saving initiatives - Contribute to achieving departmental targets such as 'Delivery on Time' and product quality - Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager - Adhere to Health and Safety regulations **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering with 5-8 years of experience - 6+ years of experience in developing CNC programs for Aerospace, Automotive, or Industrial sectors - Proficiency in handling 5Axis, mill-turn, and turn-mill machines - Familiarity with design tools like GD&T, DFMEA, and DFM - Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and regulatory standards - Knowledge of statistical process control and product testing - Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn new technologies - Experience with Creo/Solidworks software and PDM windchill & PLM software - Exposure to electrical system design is advantageous **About TE Connectivity:** TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader dedicated to creating a safer, sustainable, and connected future.
