Procurement Manager

As a Procurement Manager at a global leader in food manufacturing and agri-processing, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end plant procurement, including raw materials, packaging materials, engineering spares, capital expenditures, services, and indirect materials. Your main focus will be to ensure uninterrupted supply while driving cost optimization through strategic sourcing. Vendor development, qualification, audits, and performance management will also be key aspects of your role. Handling RFQs, negotiations, comparative statements, and finalizing purchase orders will be part of your daily tasks. It will be essential for you to drive ERP-based procurement governance, with a preference for SAP. Ensuring quality compliance with COA, certifications, and BRC standards will also be a critical responsibility. You will oversee the PRPOInvoice lifecycle, conduct spend analytics, and create dashboards to monitor procurement performance. Collaboration with Production, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams will be necessary to achieve procurement goals efficiently. Qualifications required for this role include: - 912 years of procurement experience in FMCG, Food, Agri, or Manufacturing industry - Strong exposure to direct, indirect, and capex/project procurement - Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP - Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills - Background in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations This role offers you the opportunity to build procurement processes for a greenfield, world-class manufacturing facility.
