Principle Architect

Role Overview: You will be working as a Principal Architect at Remunance in Pune with a shift timing of 10 AM to 07 PM. Your main responsibility will be to define and evolve the technical architecture for the IIoT cloud platform, covering various aspects like backend services, frontend interfaces, cloud infrastructure, and security. You will lead the development of distributed services and oversee infrastructure planning and deployment on AWS. Your role will also involve managing and mentoring cross-functional engineering teams and collaborating with other teams to deliver robust features. Key Responsibilities: - Define and evolve the end-to-end technical architecture for the IIoT cloud platform. - Lead the development of distributed services using Java Spring Boot, Kafka, Spark, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB time-series. - Lead multi-org deployment and access management using Keycloak, Clerk, or other identity management providers and IAM policies. - Own infrastructure planning and deployment on AWS: EKS, EC2, S3, NLB, Secrets Manager, ACM, VPC, and Route53. - Oversee secure authentication, authorization, and user access strategies using Keycloak. - Drive CI/CD practices using Jenkins, Argo CD, DockerHub, and Bitbucket, ensuring seamless deployments and rollback support. - Implement and refine observability using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, AlertManager, and Slack-integrated alerting. - Manage and mentor cross-functional engineering teams across time zones and disciplines, while remaining hands-on with critical modules and deployments. - Collaborate with product, security, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver robust, scalable, and performant features. - Drive architectural roadmap for performance, cost, and security optimization. Qualifications Required: - Deep experience in backend engineering with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and distributed systems. - Strong understanding of data ingestion, event streaming, and real-time processing pipelines. - Well-versed in ReactJS and modern frontend development; able to architect and support UI implementations where required. - Strong command over AWS cloud services, container orchestration (EKS, Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code concepts. - Experience working with GitOps, CI/CD tools, artifact repositories, and automated testing frameworks. - Strong communication and leadership capabilities with experience mentoring developers and leading distributed agile teams.
