Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for leading process engineering and design functions for a large-scale Fertilizer Plant project in Gurugram. Your role will involve ensuring process optimization, plant efficiency, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process design and engineering activities for fertilizer plant projects
- Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, Heat & Material Balances
- Perform process simulations and optimization studies
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Support technology evaluation and selection
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and project teams
- Provide technical support during commissioning and troubleshooting
- Monitor plant performance and recommend efficiency improvements
- Manage process documentation and technical reports
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering (Mandatory)
- 10 to 35 years of relevant experience in fertilizer, ammonia, urea, petrochemical, or chemical process plants
- Strong understanding of process simulation tools (Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus preferred)
- Knowledge of international codes, safety standards, and HAZOP studies
- Experience in brownfield and greenfield projects will be an advantage
