Principal Lead- AWS Architect

As an Information Security Architect at Ameriprise India LLP, you will specialize in cloud security, primarily AWS, collaborating with the Information Security department and Cloud Engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include: - Specializing in AWS security, including IAM roles, network security, data protection, security monitoring services, authentication services, application protection, and secure access. - Driving proof of concepts for existing or new services on AWS or Azure based on business needs. - Leading architectural discussions to ensure cloud solutions are designed for successful deployment. - Providing strategic thought leadership on enterprise cloud security posture, focusing on leveraging emerging AI technologies and addressing evolving risks associated with AI adoption. - Developing reference architectures for AWS security services, making security process recommendations, and building cross-functional relationships. Your key responsibilities will involve: - Using appropriate design techniques to perform proof of concepts, showcase outcomes to senior leadership, and convince stakeholders with relevant rationale. - Developing current and future state architecture roadmaps. - Aligning and promoting enterprise technology principles and strategy. - Establishing and maintaining architecture standards, disciplines, and principles. - Designing integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, security, and business requirements. - Maintaining expertise in architectural modeling, emerging technologies, and best practices. - Mentoring and developing less experienced technical staff. - Recommending new procedures and processes to drive desired project results. - Partnering with other architects and application development teams to ensure alignment and integration across portfolio boundaries. The qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or related work experience. - 9-14 years of relevant experience with hands-on engineering experience on AWS cloud services.
