Job Description
You will be responsible for project management leadership within the SAP Center of Excellence organization at Medtronic. Your main duties will include leading various projects such as application development, systems integration, process reengineering, and application upgrades. You will be in charge of developing project finances, work plans, schedules, and resource plans. Additionally, you will be accountable for problem analysis and solutions, project communication, and ensuring adherence to project management constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct project teams for global initiatives across different organizational functions.
- Manage all aspects of projects from intake to closure.
- Ensure successful project implementation through effective organization and leadership, risk and issue management, and stakeholder management.
- Adhere to Corporate and IT policies and standards.
- Manage project constraints including Scope, Cost, and Schedule.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to governance bodies.
- Keep up-to-date with project management best practices.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and facilitate executive level discussions.
- Define program/project scope, objectives, estimates, work plans, schedules, and resource plans.
- Provide leadership to achieve program objectives within budget and timeline.
- Ensure project outcomes meet business and stakeholder expectations.
- Implement Medtronic's quality system procedures for compliance.
- Foster strong working relationships within the project team.
- Protect Medtronic's systems and information according to Information Protection Policies.
- Monitor project financial metrics and make adjustments as needed.
- Institutionalize development life cycle processes.
- Follow IT engagement and project management processes.
- Provide guidance to project teams for issue and risk resolutions.
- Escalate project issues as necessary.
Qualifications Required:
- 14+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, MSc, or MBA.
- Previous experience in managing SAP and SAP integration projects.
- Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Interpersonal skills for effective communication.
- Experience in a Global environment.
- Previous Medtronic experience is a plus.
