Principal IT Project and Program Lead - SAP

As a Principal IT Project & Program Lead - SAP at Medtronic, you will play a key role in providing project management leadership for multiple projects within the SAP Center of Excellence organization. Your responsibilities will include leading various projects such as application development, systems integration, process reengineering, and application upgrades. You will be accountable for developing project finances, work plans, schedules, and resource plans, as well as ensuring the successful implementation of project outcomes while adhering to all Corporate and IT policies and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and direct project teams engaged in global initiatives across functional and regional organizations. - Develop and manage all aspects of projects from intake through implementation and closure. - Ensure projects adhere to project management constraints: Scope, Cost, Schedule. - Provide technical and analytical guidance to leadership governance bodies. - Build trust and rapport with key stakeholders and facilitate executive-level steering committee discussions. - Define project scope, objectives, estimates, work plans, schedules, and resource plans. - Provide leadership to project managers to achieve program objectives with high-quality work products delivered on time and on budget. - Monitor and control project financial metrics and make adjustments as necessary to meet scope, schedule, and budget expectations. - Ensure Medtronic's systems and information are protected in accordance with Information Protection Policies and Standards. Qualifications Required: - 14+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, MSc, or MBA. - Prior experience managing SAP projects and SAP integration related projects. - Experience with data analytics, business intelligence tools, and techniques. - Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills. - Experience working in a Global environment with integrated employee and vendor teams.
